I teach painting and drawing for all ages and abilities. Class sizes are small and I can offer one to one tuition if preferred.
A wide variety of media and techniques are covered such as watercolours, oils, acrylics and all other drawing materials. The emphasis in the classes is to develop the individual creative potential of each student by expanding their range of skills and techniques.
I have helped students with successful applications to Farnham University of Arts, Hampton School at Hanworth and Westminster.

GUILDFORD ART SOCIETY TUTORS
The Committee would like to recruit several, GAS-appointed tutors from within the ranks of our talented body of tutors. We would like to offer structured art classes, aimed mainly at non-members, to enable them to start on the path of learning to paint. Those undergoing tutoring by a GAS-nominated tutor under this scheme will be encouraged to join GAS but do not have to do so to get on the course. The courses will also be open to existing members of GAS. The role will involve holding weekly tutorials over a set duration to achieve a specific aim and level of achievement. In the first instance, we would like to attract beginners from all age groups especially those who have perhaps never held a brush before.
GAS will meet the full cost of the venue hire whilst the tutor retains all tuition fees in full.
GAS will help recruit and promote the courses across all our social media platforms and encourage tutors to do likewise.
Any tutor with experience of working with beginners taking them through to the intermediate level who would like to help build this important new dimension to GAS is encouraged to contact our Programme Coordinator with a brief outline of courses you could offer.
