Rodney Kingston Demonstration - Sat 24th Jan
There was a good turn out for Rodney on Saturday afternoon and the audience were very engaging throughout the demo. The subject was a Moka Pot with a black background and orange base. Rodney creates a loose drawing with a long brush, using burnt umber and solvent. He concentrates on shapes colour and light, using a limited palette of 6 colours.

he Thursday Group recently enjoyed a lovely plein air day at Farncombe
Boathouse, organised by Monica Curley.
Twelve members spent the day painting, sketching, and chatting, and even shared lunch together. If you’d like to take part in activities like this, why not consider joining the Thursday Club?


Report on Summer Exhibition 2025
The exhibition was well supported by members. We had entries from 78 artists, including
137 framed and hung paintings, 5 sculptures, 166 browser items and 12 craft items. It was a
stunning array of talent and much admired!
